Kerry Trip 20 & 21 Feb 2010

E-mail Print PDF

Folks,

It that time of year again for a club trip to Kerry. We have had a fair few day and weekend trips down over the past few years, all very exciting, and entertaining. We have run the flesk, clydagh, owenroe, upper, lower caragh, roughty and cummeragh to mention a few, check out http://www.irishwhitewater.com/river_guide/index.php?s=0&p=1 for some river guides.

I am currently planning a trip down, and I want whoever is planning on coming to let me know so I can book a hostel and organise car-pooling if necessary, send me a text on 083-3346002 with your name, and 20 / 21 / full weekend.

We usually stay in a nice hostel in Fossa, just outside Killarney, quite close to the clydagh valley, and a little drive from the Glencar area, the rates are very reasonable.

The trip will be planned in more detail once we get the total number of paddlers and skill levels, but there will be something over the weekend for all levels of ability, and it's always good to run a river outside of Limerick to bring your river running skills on a bit...

If you have any questions or queries, feel free to give me a shout.
