Following on from last years successful beginner kayaking training course, LCC are running some more summer training courses...

There are two courses available;

Level 2 kayak training & assessment for beginners & novices
This will cover all the basics of getting out on the water, and learning to enjoy kayaking in a safe manner. All necessary specialist clothing and equipment will be available during the course.

The training will commence on the 15^th July 2010, and run for six weeks each Thursday evening.

Price: €120 senior, €60 junior (under 16)

(includes one year membership of Limerick CC)

Rolling & rescue training for level 2+ kayakers
This will cover rolling, throw bags, river crossings, river safety techniques, further content depending on trainee ability. Participants should have their own boat, paddle, throw bag and specialist clothing and equipment.

The training will commence on the 22nd July 2010, and run for four weeks each Thursday evening.

Price: €80 (Free for current LCC members)
